US Dollar net speculator positions leveled at $-20.71 billion as of Tuesday

The latest data for the weekly Commitment of Traders (COT) report, released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, showed that large traders and currency speculators cut back on their aggregate bearish bets of the US dollar this week. See full article


WTI Crude Oil Speculators lowered bullish net positions this week

The non-commercial contracts of WTI crude futures totaled a net position of 699,545 contracts, according to data from this week. This was a slide of -16,225 contracts from the previous weekly total. See full article


Gold Speculators sharply reduced their bullish net positions this week

The large speculator contracts of gold futures totaled a net position of 166,589 contracts. This was a weekly decline of -36,765 contracts from the previous week. See full article


10-Year Note Speculators sharply raised their bearish net positions

The large speculator contracts of 10-year treasury note futures totaled a net position of -375,365 contracts. This was a weekly reduction of -70,153 contracts from the previous week. See full article


S&P500 Mini Speculators lowered bullish net positions this week

The non-commercial futures contracts of S&P500 Mini futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 212,603 contracts in the data reported through Tuesday April 3rd,  See full article


Silver Speculators keep increasing their bearish positions

The non-commercial contracts of silver futures totaled a net position of -16,965 contracts, according to data from this week. This was a weekly fall of -3,308 contracts from the previous totals. See full article


Copper Speculators slightly boosted bullish bets after 3 down weeks

The large speculator contracts of copper futures totaled a net position of 20,910 contracts. This was a weekly boost of 1,723 contracts from the data of the previous week. See full article
