COT Report: Speculators drop bets of Dollar & Metals. Crude bets fall 2nd week

Currency Speculators pushed US Dollar bearish positions higher for 3rd week

US Dollar net speculator positions leveled at $-14.61 billion as of Tuesday

The latest data for the weekly Commitment of Traders (COT) report, released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, showed that large traders and currency speculators increased their bearish bets of the US dollar this week. See full article


WTI Crude Oil Speculators decreased bullish net positions for 2nd week

The non-commercial contracts of WTI crude futures totaled a net position of 668,533 contracts, according to data from this week. This was a slide of -17,974 contracts from the previous weekly total. See full article


Gold Speculators pushed their bullish bets to lowest level in 10 weeks

The large speculator contracts of gold futures totaled a net position of 167,948 contracts. This was a weekly decline of -15,875 contracts from the previous week. See full article


10-Year Note Speculators sharply cut back on their bearish bets this week

The large speculator contracts of 10-year treasury note futures totaled a net position of -271,369 contracts. This was a weekly increase of 90,781 contracts from the previous week. See full article


S&P500 Mini Speculators slightly lowered their overall bullish positions

Large stock market speculators reduced their bullish net positions in the S&P500 Mini futures markets this week. See full article


Silver Speculators decreased their bullish net positions this week

The non-commercial contracts of silver futures totaled a net position of 2,947 contracts, according to data from this week. This was a weekly fall of -3,239 contracts from the previous totals. See full article


Copper Speculators trimmed their bullish bets to lowest since December

The large speculator contracts of copper futures totaled a net position of 39,635 contracts. This was a weekly shortfall of -2,285 contracts from the data of the previous week. See full article
