S&P500 Speculators trimmed bullish bets but in positive territory for the 5th straight week

Silver Spec rout continues for a 6th week, now under +10,000 contract level

Currency Speculators go short US Dollar bets for 1st time in 14 months

US Dollar net speculator positions leveled at $-1.91 billion as of Tuesday

The latest data for the weekly Commitment of Traders (COT) report, released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, showed that large traders and currency speculators reduced their bets for the US dollar for a fourth straight week and into an overall short position for the first time in approximately fourteen months. WTI Crude Oil Speculators push bullish bets to best level since April

The non-commercial contracts of WTI crude futures totaled a net position of 396,459 contracts, according to data from last week. This was a lift of 38,434 contracts from the previous weekly total. See full article


Gold Speculators edged bullish bets lower, down for 6th week

The large speculator contracts of gold futures totaled a net position of 60,138 contracts. This was a weekly decline of -122 contracts from the previous week. See full article


10-Year Note Speculators raised bullish bets for 1st time in 4 weeks

The large speculator contracts of 10-year treasury note futures totaled a net position of 282,329 contracts. This was a weekly increase of 25,302 contracts from the previous week. See full article


S&P500 Speculators cut back on bullish bets for 1st time in 7 weeks

The large speculator contracts of S&P 500 futures totaled a net position of 1,279 contracts. This was a decrease of -1,348 contracts from the reported data of the previous week. See full article


Silver Speculators continued to decrease bullish net positions for 6th week

The non-commercial contracts of silver futures totaled a net position of 9,376 contracts, according to data from last week. This was a weekly fall of -4,629 contracts from the previous totals. See full article


Copper Speculators added to bullish net positions for 3rd out of past 4 weeks

The large speculator contracts of copper futures totaled a net position of 15,330 contracts. This was a weekly boost of 3,324 contracts from the data of the previous week. See full article
